The days are getting colder, and today it rained. It was a glorious time. The gentle pitter-patter upon the pavement sent the cleansing smell of nitrogen to my nose and chills to my spine. The air and earth have been wiped of pollution and filth, washing us all of vice. Soon enough, the land will be blanketed with sparkling, white snow, just beyond the day of all saints. However, this day is a fine day. The winds will blow, and the autumn hues will blossom into a whirlwind of arbor slumber. Slowly, the sleepy days of fall will fade into dreams of flurries, as the warmth of the hearth will comfort us beyond the ice and snow. Autumn is my favorite time of the year.
